We believe that education is the key to inspiring the next generation of conservationists who will help make a meaningful difference for sharks and the overall health of our planet. That's why we conduct educational outreach presentations in local schools on Oahu, Hawaii, with the goal of inspiring and empowering the next generation.
Our presentations are tailored to the age group and cover a range of topics, including the general biology and anatomy of sharks, their ecological significance as top predators in the ecosystem, and trends and statistics on their decline and rare adverse human interactions. We also emphasize the role of sharks as 'aumakua and their importance in Hawaiian culture.
We believe that supporting the community is essential in creating a sustainable future, and that's why we offer small groups of students the opportunity to experience the sharks themselves, free of charge. We hope that by providing these experiences, students will gain a greater appreciation for sharks and their importance to the health of our planet.
We encourage local schools to contact us to arrange an educational outreach presentation. By working together, we can inspire and empower the next generation to become conservationists and make a meaningful difference for sharks and the environment.
